Some picks will be available with Pick Multipliers. You can find these picks by looking for the orange lightning bolt icon beneath them. The Pick Multiplier is the value next to the lightning bolt.
A Pick’s Multiplier will impact the lineup’s Base Multiplier and how the lineup’s share of Extra Winnings are calculated.
Yes, Pick Multipliers can change after they have been posted. The Pick Multipliers at the time you submit your Pick Set are the Pick Multipliers your picks will be scored at.
Your Base Multiplier is calculated by multiplying the Standard Base Multiplier of the sport and pick tier by the Pick Multiplier of all the picks in your lineup, capped at a Max Base Multiplier.
For example, you make a $1 3-pick NFL lineup:
Max Base Multiplier = 80x
Your Base Multiplier for this lineup is 7.8x (5x * 1x * 1.2x * 1.3x)
For example, your $1 3-pick NFL lineup from the example above is entered into a contest with $10,000 in total prizes. All three of your picks are correct:
Your Standings Points for this lineup are 1.56 ($1 * 1x * 1.2x * 1.3x)
Your Extra Winnings are calculated dividing the standings points for this entry by the total standings points of all winning lineups in the contests and multiplying by the guaranteed prize pool. Continuing with the example above:
Your contest winnings per entry for this lineup is ((1.56/156) * $10,000) or $10 in winnings. The winnings for this lineup would appear as $7.80 in Base Payout and $2.20 in Extra Winnings.
Specific pick combinations may result in adjusted multipliers, impacting your Base Multiplier as well as your Standing Points calculation.
