You are in control of the communications and contest interactions you receive on DraftKings. You can:
Opt out of league notifications
Opt out of invitation notifications
Block Head-to-Head (H2H) invitations from specific customers
Limit how often certain customers can compete against you
Important Notes
Limiting notifications or blocking Head-to-Head contests from specific users can only be done from a desktop or laptop
You can remove blocked customers at any time by selecting the box next to the customer's username and clicking Unblock or Remove
Blocking a customer applies only to Head-to-Head contests
Blocking may take up to 10 minutes to take effect
You can block up to 10 customers at a time
Blocking does not apply to Head-to-Head contests with entry fees of $1,000 or more
Blocking does not prevent invites to multicustomer contests (such as 3-customer contests) or league contests
If you no longer wish to receive notifications from a league, learn more about deleting or leaving a league
You can receive contest invites from two different sources:
Head-to-Head or multicustomer contest challenges sent directly by another customer
League contests posted within a league you are already a member of or have been invited to join
If the invites are coming from a league:
Blocking the customer will not stop league contest notifications
You may need to:
Decline the pending league invite
Leave the league if you are already a member
Or turn off notifications for that specific league while remaining a member
If you would like to stay in the league but stop receiving notifications:
Log in to DraftKings from a desktop or laptop
Click your username in the top-right corner
Select Communication Settings
Locate the league and disable notifications for that league
When you block a customer:
They cannot join your public or private Head-to-Head contests
They cannot send you Head-to-Head challenge requests
They cannot be auto-matched with you in Head-to-Head contests
How Head-to-Head Blocking Works
Head-to-Head blocking primarily prevents automatic matchup pairing between customers.
For example:
If two customers each post a $100 public Head-to-Head contest that remains unfilled at contest lock, DraftKings may automatically match those customers together
If either customer has blocked the other, they will not be auto-matched
