Crown Cash accrued from entry fees, wagering on Sportsbook and/or Casino, and ordering tickets via Jackpocket expires on a rolling 12-month period (“Accrual Expiration,” exactly 365 days). Customers who are inactive on DraftKings platforms for a period of 12 consecutive months will forfeit their platform-accrued Crown Cash balance. The Accrual Expiration period will restart as soon as a customer places an entry, wager, or order with cash from their cash balance. DraftKings play, entries, wagers, and orders accrue Crown Cash at different rates, and some actions may not accrue at all. Use of Crown Cash will not restart the Accrual Expiration period. Crown Cash issued from a promotion will expire according to that promotion’s terms. If a customer has received Crown Cash from other promotions, the Crown Cash allotment that expires first will be used first. Failure to use Crown Cash before expiration will void the reward and will not be reissued.
Yes, Crown Cash can expire. In most cases, your Crown Cash will expire after one year of inactivity on the platform. As long as you continue to earn Crown Cash, your balance will remain active.
Some promotional Crown Cash may have a shorter expiration period. If any portion of your balance is set to expire sooner, we’ll display the earliest expiration date in your Balance Drawer and the Rewards Center within the app.
