What is the Refer a Friend Offer?

The DraftKings Refer a Friend program allows you to earn bonuses by referring friends who may also enjoy DraftKings.

Refer a Friend promotions are available to eligible DraftKings customers who can refer new customers who don't already have a DraftKings account, including Casino, Daily Fantasy Sports, Pick6, DK Horse, DraftKings Racing, Jackpocket, Predictions, and Sportsbook.

Customers who refer a friend that has previously created or deposited into a DraftKings account for any of these verticals are not eligible for a Refer a Friend reward.

Offer requirements and rewards may change periodically and may vary by vertical. Review your personalized offer and the applicable Terms and Conditions for the most current information.

Where can I find my Refer a Friend offer?

Open the DraftKings app and access the Refer a Friend landing page by:

Going to Rewards Center > Promos.
Select the Refer a Friend promotion card.

The landing page displays:

Your personalized Refer a Friend offer.
Instructions explaining how the offer works.
Your active and pending referrals.
The option to share your unique referral link.

What requirements must my friend meet?

Your friend must:

Be a new DraftKings customer who has never previously created an account.
Be physically located in a jurisdiction where the applicable DraftKings vertical and Refer a Friend offer are available.
Have never deposited funds into a DraftKings account.
Use your unique referral link to register for a DraftKings account.
Successfully complete the DraftKings identity verification process.
Meet the deposit, play, and other qualifying requirements listed in the offer’s Terms and Conditions.

Important: The DraftKings Refer a Friend program may not be available in all jurisdictions.

Once all qualifying actions are completed, rewards will be issued according to the offer’s Terms and Conditions.

How do I refer a friend?

Follow these steps for your DraftKings app:

Open the Refer a Friend landing page: In the DraftKings app, go to Rewards Center > Promos or select the Refer a Friend promotion card.
Review your offer: Confirm the available reward, qualifying requirements, and instructions.
Select Share: Select the Share button on the Refer a Friend landing page.
Choose how to share your link:
- On iOS or Android, your device’s sharing options will open. Available options may include Messages, WhatsApp, AirDrop, or Copy.
- Or select the social media icon you wish to use.
Select your friend: Choose or enter your friend’s contact information.
Send the message: A pre-populated message may include:
- Your unique referral link.
- Details about the applicable new customer offer for your referred friend.
- A DraftKings image thumbnail, if supported.
- An eligibility restriction disclaimer.

Important: Your friend must use your unique referral link when creating their account for the referral to be tracked for your Refer A Friend offer.

What does my friend need to do?

After receiving your message, your friend must:

Select the referral link: The link will open a DraftKings webpage explaining how to claim the offer.
Choose how to continue: Your friend can:
- Download the DraftKings Sports & Casino app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Select Continue to mobile site, if available.
Confirm the app store redirect: If prompted, select Open to continue to the applicable app store.
Download and open the app.
Create a DraftKings account: Complete the registration and identity verification process. A confirmation banner may indicate that the referral was successfully applied.
Complete the offer requirements: Deposit, play, or complete any other qualifying actions listed in the offer’s Terms and Conditions.

After registration, the applicable new customer offer may appear in the app’s promotions carousel for your friend.

Both you and your friend must meet all eligibility and qualifying requirements before rewards can be issued to your account.

How can I track my referrals?

You can monitor your friend’s progress through the Refer a Friend tracker on the Refer a Friend landing page.

The tracker will update after your friend:

Uses your unique referral link to create a DraftKings account.
Completes the qualifying actions listed in the offer, such as depositing, playing, or completing another required action.
Once all required steps are completed, eligible rewards will be issued according to the offer’s Terms and Conditions.

How can my friend help ensure the referral qualifies?

Your friend must:

Be a new DraftKings customer who has never previously created an account.
Have never deposited funds into a DraftKings account.
Be physically located in a DraftKings legal state for DraftKings Fantasy Sports, Sportsbook, Casino, Predictions, Racing, Jackpocket Lottery, or Pick6.
Select the unique referral link you sent.
Create their account through the referral experience.
Successfully verify their identity.
Complete all qualifying actions listed in the Refer a Friend offer’s Terms and Conditions.

Can I use my own payment method to fund my friend’s account?

No. Your friend must fund their own account using a payment method that belongs to them.

You shall not yourself, nor shall you authorize, assist, or encourage any third party to register or make deposits to any account (directly or indirectly) through your link for your own personal use and/or the use of your relatives, friends, employees, agents or advisors, or otherwise attempt to artificially increase the rewards payable to you, to meet your minimum acquisition requirements or in any other way attempt to defraud DraftKings.

DraftKings reserves the right to exclude or remove you from the Refer a Friend promotion, as well as the right to withhold bonus rewards if you have violated or attempted to violate the Terms, including but not limited to sharing account credentials with other individuals, placing wagers on behalf of other individuals, circumventing DraftKings age and location verification procedures, betting both sides of a game or matchup to complete play-through or promotion requirements, and abusing the DraftKings Platform, the Services, or any bonuses, the refer-a-friend program, or any other offers or promotions, including this promotion, in any way.

Example

John invites his brother Marcus to play DraftKings through the Refer a Friend program. Marcus is excited to join and take advantage of the promotion. However, he forgets his Venmo password and uses John’s Venmo account instead.

Referring a relative, friend, or colleague is acceptable. However, depositing into any DraftKings account other than your own is a breach of the Terms of Use and may result in account restrictions, up to and including account termination.
