Important notes about two-factor authentication (“2FA”):

How to Enable/Disable 2FA at every login

Via the DraftKings Fantasy Sports app

  1. Log in to the DraftKings Fantasy Sports app. 
  2. Tap your profile photo and select Log In & Security.
  3. Select Login Security Preferences
  4. Toggle ON/OFF Receive SMS in the Two-Factor Authentication (“2FA”) section.
  5. In the 2FA pop-up window, enter your mobile phone number and tap Send Verification Code
  6. Enter the 2FA code sent to your mobile phone and toggle 2FA On.
    • To disable 2FA follow the same steps as above and toggle 2FA OFF.

Via the DraftKings Sportsbook & Casino app

  1. Log in to the DraftKings Sportsbook & Casino app. 
  2. Tap your profile photo and select Log In & Security.
  3. Select Login Security Preferences
  4. Toggle ON/OFF Receive SMS in the Two-Factor Authentication (“2FA”) section.
  5. In the 2FA pop-up window, enter your mobile phone number and tap Send Verification Code
  6. Enter the 2FA code sent to your mobile phone and toggle 2FA On.
    • Important note: Due to jurisdictional requirements, you may be required to complete 2FA via SMS text message or email (where available) when signing in from an unrecognized devices or as frequently as every 14 days, depending on your location. This 2FA recurring cadence can not be disabled for DraftKings Sportsbook or Casino products.

Via the DraftKings Pick6 app

  1. Log in to the DraftKings Pick6 app. 
  2. Tap your profile photo and select Log In & Security.
  3. Select Login Security Preferences
  4. Toggle ON/OFF Receive SMS in the Two-Factor Authentication (“2FA”) section.
  5. In the 2FA pop-up window, enter your mobile phone number and tap Send Verification Code
  6. Enter the 2FA code sent to your mobile phone and toggle 2FA On.
    • To disable 2FA follow the same steps as above and toggle 2FA OFF.

Via desktop or laptop

  1. Log in to the DraftKings product of your choice. 
  2. Click your profile photo and select Account Information
  3. On the left rail, click Login & Security
  4. Toggle ON/OFF Receive SMS in the Two-Factor Authentication (“2FA”) section.
  5. In the 2FA pop-up window, enter your mobile phone number and click Send Verification Code
  6. Enter the 2FA code sent to your mobile phone and toggle 2FA On.
    • To disable 2FA follow the same steps as above and toggle 2FA OFF.
      • Important note: You will not be able to disable 2FA for DraftKings Sportsbook or Casino products.

Via mobile web

  1. Log in to the DraftKings product of your choice. 
  2. Tap the three-line Menu icon in the top left corner.
  3. On the left rail, tap the gear Settings icon. 
  4. Tap Account Information.
  5. From the My Account dropdown in the center of the screen, select Login & Security.
  6. Toggle ON/OFF Receive SMS next in the Two-Factor Authentication (“2FA”) section.
  7. In the Two-Factor Authentication pop-up window, enter your mobile phone number and click Send Verification Code.
    • Important note: You will not be able to disable 2FA for DraftKings Sportsbook or Casino products.

Troubleshooting 2FA issues

  1. If you have any phone numbers blocked or have Do Not Disturb activated, 2FA may not work.
  2. If your device does not have a sufficient cellular signal, 2FA will not work (it is sent via SMS text message, not Wi-Fi).
  3. Please confirm that you’re receiving SMS text messages from others.

For an IOS device

  1. Check if Filter Unknown Senders is enabled (Settings → Messages → Filter Unknown Senders).
  2. Follow these guides from Apple regarding blocking SMS text messages from unknown senders.
    • Important Note: Please note that these steps show how to block a number. In this case, you would need to do the opposite. 

For an Android device

  1. In the Messages app on your Android, tap the three-dot menu at the top right of the screen. 
  2. In the drop-down menu, tap Spam & Blocked.
  3. Tap the three-dot menu and then choose Spam & Blocked to see the list of senders you are currently blocking. 
  4. Tap the message you want to unblock and then tap Unblock.
