Tracking Bets on your Lock Screen - Overview

Track your DraftKings bets directly on your Lock Screen in real time! Available for Apple devices with iOS 17.2 or higher, this feature made possible via Live Activities lets you monitor scores, player stats, and your bet progress—without unlocking your phone.

At this time, Lock Screen bet tracking isn’t available in Connecticut, Maryland, and Massachusetts.

How can I set up bet tracking on my Lock Screen?

Follow these steps to add a Live Activity to your Lock Screen:

  1. Place your bet.
  2. Go to your My Bets section in the DraftKings Sportsbook app.
  3. Tap the “Track on Lock Screen” button in the bottom-right corner of the bet slip.
  4. The button will change to “Tracking.”
  5. See your bet on the Lock Screen.
    • For future events: The Live Activity will appear closer to the event start.
    • For live bets: The Live Activity will appear instantly.

Note: Live Activities are limited to 8-hour sessions. For bets lasting longer, you may need to re-enable tracking.

Interacting with your Live Activity

Here’s what you can do with your bet on the Lock Screen:

Note: If the DraftKings app is force-closed or hasn’t been opened in a while, the Live Activity may temporarily lose the ability to toggle between your legs. If this happens, you can always tap the Live Activity to view the latest updates for all your legs. Reopening the app will restore the toggle functionality within a few minutes.

Hiding or Dismissing a Live Activity

Your Live Activity will automatically disappear shortly after the bet settles and the event ends. If you’d like to remove it sooner, you have two options:

  1. Swipe to Dismiss: Swipe the Live Activity off your Lock Screen like any other notification.
  2. Disable in My Bets: Go back into the app and tap the “Tracking” button to disable the Live Activity. You can always re-enable Lock Screen tracking for any bet by revisiting the My Bets section.
