DraftKings Fantasy Sports provides Classic Game Style contests across all available sports. In this type of contest, each athlete is assigned a salary cap value. When entering Classic contests, you need to select a lineup of athletes that fit under a salary cap of $50,000.
Each sport or league will have different lineup requirements. A certain number of players must be drafted, often across a certain number of teams.
Some Classic contests, such as League of Legends (LOL) and F1, may require a “captain.” A Captain is an athlete who costs 1.5x more than their normal salary; however, they accrue 1.5x more in Fantasy points.

As an example only: You're filling out an NFL Classic Game Style lineup. While you'd only need to fill in one spot on the lineup for the Quarterback, you'd need to fill two separate spots for Running Backs with two different athletes.
Important Information
- When you enter a Classic Game Style you'll need to select athletes from at least two different teams. Keep in mind that the athlete pool can span multiple games at the same time.
- Depending on the sport chosen for the Classic Game Style, you may need to choose several athletes to fill different positions to complete their lineup.
